EMMA S GORDON
I am a Bay Area based photographer whose creative focus ranges from exploration and landscape photography to experimental exposure techniques with film. Working with people shooting portraiture and headshots, or helping small business owners present their food and products in a new light allows me to connect with my community though photography.
I have been shooting film since I was 15. I loved getting to be a part of the entire process of photography; taking the photo, developing film, and printing in a dark room. The film camera has allowed me to have an intentionality to the way I take photos that I apply to my digital photography as well. My subject matter varies from film to digital but I have always loved the duality of both methods. Though photography, I hope to capture fleeting moments of life in the world around us.
